We all went to the Atlanta Science Festival yesterday at Centennial Olympic Park. And although we didn't make it to every booth or even many of them, we had a great experience and I am so glad that Paul and I decided to take our girls to see the event. The energy level was through the roof, children were visibly joyful to be there, science was being celebrated and embraced in an impactful manner. Taylor played with robots and wildlife, Harbans felt a beaver's skin and tail, and we got to have cotton candy. Such a wonderful way to spend our Saturday together.
The Georgia USA booth highlighted Go Build Georgia, an effort to attract workers to the contracting, architecture, and engineering fields. Something to celebrate - these are the things that make me so proud of my job!
