After finding out last week that we were having a girl, Paul and I boarded a plane and flew to NYC to celebrate - well... Paul had a meeting in New Jersey on Friday and I tagged along to make the weekend a celebration. The weather was awful on Friday and our flights both ways were delayed, but we had a wonderful time. Saturday morning we woke up and the weather was perfect! We ate so well all weekend, and the highlight was Friday night dinner at Peter Luger's. Paul wanted to eat there for a long time so we enjoyed every bite. Bacon, steak, tomatoes and onion, shrimp cocktain, spinach, potatoes, apple pie a la mode, and an ice cream sundae! Thankfully, Staci made it to NYC on Saturday and we got to hang out with her some too. Great weather, dear friends, delicious food, and a wonderful chance to celebrate with Paul.
