If you know our family, you would think that we have four people and a dog living in our home. But that isn't true these days. We have a full house! We have a full house because Taylor has created a house full of imaginary friends for us to live with. Her most popular "kid" is named Big Girl Biggie. Taylor loves her Big Girl Biggie.
You have to be careful when you live in a house full of imaginary people. "I have four kids. No seven. No eleven! I have eleven kids." It's always four, then seven, followed by eleven. Always. When I was pregnant, Taylor told everyone around that she had four babies in her belly. Then she had seven babies in her belly. And eventually she had eleven babies in her belly. So that was super comfortable when she told everyone from the cashier at RiteAid to her grandparents to her teachers that she had eleven babies in her belly!
Recently though, the discussions have centered around Big Girl Biggie. (All of Taylor's kids are named Big Girl something. Big Girl Girlie. Big Girl Billy - who is a girl of course. Big Girl Biggie is her absolute favorite though.) Our imaginary roommate, the big girl queen, bumps into walls, spends a lot of time in time out, and spills her food all over the floor. Often times, Taylor will erupt into laughter and when asked what was so funny she'll answer "Big Girl Biggie just bumped into the wall." Or "Big Girl Biggie just dropped her ham on the floor." "That crazy Big Girl Biggie. She just hit her brother so she had to go to TIME OUT."
And watch out when you sit on the couch because there is no telling who's going to be sitting there ahead of you. "MOM!!! Get up! You're sitting on Big Girl Biggie!" "DAD!!! What are you doing? You just spilled Big Girl Biggie's soup all over the floor!"
Paul told me tonight, "that darn Big Girl Biggie. That poor girl just can't do a darn thing right." And it's true - she's a mess and she keeps us all on our toes. Gotta love a creative little girl with a big imagination.
