Early on in her life (a whole 4 weeks ago) Taylor loved snoozing in my lap or on my chest. We could lay down and doze off together - which was very nice considering I wasn't getting any sleep at all! Now that she's more awake and alert, baby girl does not enjoy snoozing as much as she did before. And she definitely doesn't want to sleep in my lap as much. This weekend she slept for a few minutes in my arms (as captured in this picture by my friend Brantley), but typically if I want her to get some rest, it's either in her crib or car seat. I guess when mom's around, Taylor wants attention and playtime!
Speaking of Brantley... she came to visit this weekend. It was such fun to see her and get to spend time with Brant and T. We even went out on Saturday night for adult time and got wine with some of my girl friends! Great weekend - awesome Saturday night, delicious BBQ lunch on Sunday, several walks in the neighborhood.
